# Coffer — quote mapping for heavy-civil estimators

Quote mapping is matching every line of a vendor's quote to the contractor's own resource codes so pricing lands on the bid sheet without retyping.

Coffer reads vendor quotes in different formats and proposes the matching resource codes. Your estimator confirms each mapping before a price reaches the bid sheet. Confirmed mappings become vendor-specific memory for later quotes.

Coffer works beside the contractor's existing estimating workflow. It does not replace HCSS HeavyBid, the bid sheet, the contractor's codes, or the estimator's decision. Moving confirmed output into HeavyBid follows the contractor's current import or entry process.

The current workflow connects the material list or RFQ, mapped vendor quotes, the bid comparison sheet, selected carries, and downloadable POs. Invoice checks are the next planned module, not a current claim.

## See Coffer on your own quotes

Send a past material list or RFQ and one or more vendor quotes. A completed comparison sheet is useful when you can share it, but it is not required.
